Whatcha eating today VSGers? Friday 11/3
Good morning! I'm so thankful it's Friday. I really behind at work. I have my own work to do, plus writing lessons and grading work for a class who's teacher quit. I'm going to be playing catchup this weekend.
QOTD - Besides the people, what are you thankful for in your home? In other words, what makes a house into a home for you? I'm thankful for books, plants, and pets. I can't remember a time when I didn't have books or plants around, and the only time I didn't have a pet was in college. If someone else has those things in their house, it puts me at ease.
B - latte, cottage cheese
L - leftover chicken
S - protein shake
D - TBD - probably something with ground turkey
E - I didn't have time for leg day yesterday, so I'll do it today
water and vitamins on track

It is my next to last work Friday! I'm sorry you have to play catch-up. I have to admit I'm not going to miss that.
QOTD: The people make my house a home most, then my dogs, then the way it is light and beachy. We have to go to Florida without the 2 dogs because they are too old to make the drive (DS will be keeping them). I'm worried that one or the other of them won't make it through the winter. My books are with me everywhere (I've been using a kindle since they first came out and have several online library affiliations).
1 year, 7 months post-op (maintenance). 6 work days to retirement (11/13) - 3 short days and 3 long ones.
B: eggbeaters, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon
L: tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese
D: ? (Out to dinner)
S: one of the OH handouts: maybe the nuts which Cecily says are quite good

Yeah, I think I used to support the library via late fees in the past! Reading is probably my #1 favorite way to relax.

Thanks for picking up the menu thread! I stayed up until 1am hanging out with co-workers. This is not typical for me, so I actually slept in a bit. Today is the last day of the conference and I'll be done by 11am. Then my friend comes into town and I can hang out with her! We are going to probably do things in the Lancaster area tomorrow.
QOTD: I'm thankful for having an office which is my own private space that I can set up however I like and affords me some privacy. I'm thankful for a large, comfortable bedroom that promotes sleep and I'm thankful for a gorgeous dining room with a big table that my family can sit around for dinner.
9 months post-op/Maintenance:
M1: Coffee, Miralax & H&H
M2: Egg and Cheese
M3-M5: TBD
E: Other than getting a good number of steps from the conference, not sure what I'll do today.

Thanks for getting us started today!
Today is massage day for me. I scheduled my November massage as early in the month as possible so I could get it in before unknown recovery. I had hoped to meet with a friend for lunch, but it turns out she's got meetings until 3pm, so that's not going to work out. Which sucks. Other than that? I'm just working on prepping more for surgery and RELAXING. I can't believe I got all my school work for the term finished yesterday! I finished up season 2 of The Magicians and had time to read and everything!
QOTD: I'm thankful for my laptop since it connects me to the world, lets me easily take college classes, and all the other wondrous things it does.
1: protein shake
2: soup!
3: peanut chicken stir fry, rice for Art (since Lance is out of town, I can cook with peanuts!)
liquid and vites: on track
exercise: nope. My arms are happily sore from yesterday's bed changing :D

Good morning!
QOTD: I'm thankful to have a whole room devoted to sewing with a big cutting table and space to keep an ironing board up all the time. I'm also thankful to live in a house that's been in my husband's family since it was built over 100 years ago.
