Does anyone else chew sugarfree gum all day to keep from eating too much? It works for me, but I haven't been counting the calories/carbs from it and I wonder if I'm shooting myself in the foot. I chew something like 20 pieces per day!

I started about a month ago. I chew the mentos gum. About 20 a day. I still lost 15 pounds so far this month. I've been a little high on carbs (65ish). A little low on water(70ish). And all that sugar alcohol from gum. It doesn't seem to effect me that much.

I chew a lot of gum, mostly the Trident sf gum. Usually I'll chew it after a meal to get that minty taste when I can't brush my teeth.

The only concern I'd have is that with all the chewing & the saliva stimulation, that my body will think that it's getting ready to eat again & make more acid in my stomach, break my food down quicker & end up being hungry sooner rather than later.

I chew SF gum a lot especially after meals and when I am working from home (to dull the call of the nearby kitchen). I do not count the calories and it does not seem to have mattered (nor does it give me any stomach/intestinal upset).
