Hi Guys,

I was going to go with Dr. Quinones at Pompeii clinic in TJ, but then I was doing some research and I can't find anywhere that is says that is he a certified bariatric surgeon, not just a regular surgeon. Is this cause for concern? The other Dr. I was looking at was Dr. Mayterno at Long Term WLS. Have anyone had their surgeries done by either of these guys? What do you think/recommend?

Thanks so much!

You're smart to be asking questions and looking for recommendations. It's scary the thought of getting a surgery in a country where you have no rights. Some surgeons' teams also help with accommodations for recovery as well, so keep that in mind, too. Don't go to any doc that doesn't have oodles of shining recommendations.
