Whatcha Eating Today VSGers? Thursday 11/2/17
Some people find that it's better to post at the end of the day - not everyone does well with planning out their entire day of food in the morning. (Or night before, or whenever people do this.) So there are options!! :D
I love my blender bottles - I have quite the collection ;) Sometimes my grocery store sells ones with purple tops (my favorite color) and I have to remind myself that I already have more than enough in other colors.

Its so interesting how everyone is different. I run better first thing in the morning completely fasted except for a little bit of water for hydration. What's a Nush cake?
QOTD: I would have to agree with you that my family's support of my surgery, my gym time, and that they will kick me in the ass when I fall off the wagon.
B: Stok Cold Brew with Sugar Free Italian Sweet Cream and Cinnamon, Ham and Egg Scramble
S: Avocado
L: Lil' Smokies with Sugar Free BBQ Sauce
S: Pistachios
D: Taco Lettuce Wraps
S: Chocolate Caramel Peanut Butter
W: Haven't started but hitting my water has not been a problem in quite some time
E: Took a German Shepherd, a Pit Bull, and a Husky on a 1 mile walk this morning before coffee. Still need to go for a 2-3 mile run (I am down on road time this week), if I can squeeze it in I will go do arms and chest at the gym.
I also prefer to run completely fasted, although I do have to make sure I hydrate fully or else this weird oxytocin/ADH thing happens and I end up wanting to die from pain. It's always weird if I have to run in the afternoon or evening - much prefer the first thing in the morning run!

I have been upping my pre-run hydration. I was running in a 5k about a month ago and around mile 2 I started to feel a bit dizzy and like I would pass out. I started thinking really dark thoughts. I thought I might be having a cardiac event. I got to the water station and drank two cups of water and was fine. I did get to my doctor for and EKG a week later and all was fine. I have been pre-hydrating ever since and haven't had an issue, so I am not sure its the same thing you are experiencing but sounds like it was similar.
Funny, I have to eat a bit before my run or I get sick. I also have hypoglycemia and my endocrinologist believes that exercise contributes to it. So, about 60 min before I run I eat .5 of a graham cracker (don't everyone jump down my throat for that . . . it's about the only "processed" carb I eat) with nut butter. It gives me a good balance of carbs and fat and I don't end up with blood sugar below 50 as a result . . . ok, sometimes I do, but I try to be proactive . . .
When I do long runs I use a Clif Blok every 2 miles or so. So no judgment here!

I feel great this morning! Since Hurricane Irma, my husband and I have been sleeping on the couch since my bedroom was uninhabitable. Last night, he finished setting up our bed in our crafts room. I slept in my bed last night. Woot! AND I got on the scale this morning and have officially lost 100 pounds since 7/13 (the day I decided to go for the surgery).
QOTD: I am thankful for my husband and my mother. They both support me in anything I do. They are my best friends and my minions. They follow me no matter what path I take. "I've got an idea..." is always met with groans, but they pile on board and away we go!
