October NSVs
on 10/31/17 1:41 pm
Sharing my many NSVs for this month. 10 months post op this week.
-volunteered for a community Oktoberfest for a weekend. Extensive walking, lifting. I could not have done that at all a year ago. And I wasn't the least bit tempted to eat all that food.
-went to Vegas for some r&r. More walking. Flew on a plane and didn't even stop to think if the seat belt would fit. That was huge. Going through the airport didnt seem like a chore this time either.
-I'm down another size in clothing. My XLs are getting big. I even threw on a pre surg pair of pants to wear around the house. When I stood up, they fell down to my knees. I had a good laugh. Sometimes I think the weight loss isn't that visible so that was a good validation.
-After 2 month stall, I'm down 7 lbs in October. And my sleeve restriction seems to have kicked back in.
I hope you all have some good NSVs as well. Happy Halloween!

Thanks! I admit the pants fiasco felt good. I don't know why I stalled except my body was used to what I was eating. I think the stall broke because I got a lot more exercise this month. I'm traveling next month too on business so I hope the trend continues.
Awesome, good for you!
