Getting my annual physical today. I should be 100 pounds lighter than when I saw my internist this time last year. Big improvement!
QOTD: I love bad weather! My only exceptions are Santa Ana winds because they are hot, dry, mess-creating, and make me cranky and weather that delays or cancels my flights.
B - coffee and yogurt
L - grilled chicken
D - leftover chicken from last night
S - Halotop
Hello,
Qotd thunderstorms do not bother me if I do not have to drive in it. Snow does, hate it. Prefer sun.
B ham and cheese omelette and string cheese
L tuna, cottage cheese and honeycrisp apple
D ribs and some kind of vegetable
Have a good day
What a day. It's windy and wet here too, but I have it in my mind that this is the perfect time to hand wash the old.car that needs elbow grease to get some crap off of it because, after it rained all night, that means the crap has been soaking so it'll come off easier. Right?! That's my theory, at least.
It's 12:30 here and so far I've gone to the grocery store, run old.car through a second car wash to see if that was more effective than the first car wash, and gotten batter for 42 of the 48 sous vide chocolate cakes I'm making made and into jars. The last six cakes will be dairy-free, so I need to do them separately. I can only easily fit eight jars in the sous vide at a time, and they take an hour per batch, so I'll be rotating jars through the sous vide for the rest of the day. As soon as this first batch finishes, I'll put the second batch in and go out to wash the car. I don't think I've washed a car by hand since I was a kid, so this will be festive. Then I'll take a really hot shower since I'm sure I'll be freezing by the time I'm finished!!
From there, it's school and surgery prep. Classes end on Sunday and surgery is Monday!
QOTD: Oops! I forgot this. I like bad weather but only if I'm inside and safe and if it's not bad enough to damage property/injure people. So.. really I just like when there's thunder and lightning and rain and I get to listen to it from inside the house. Nothing SUPER bad.
1: pumpkin seeds
2: protein shake at some point
3: leftover turkey and zucchini meatballs
4: garbage stir fry with curried cabbage (I'm making a double batch, but using 3lb of ground meat), rice for the guys
liquid and vites: on track
exercise: nothing formal, but I'm sure car washing will be a good workout, especially since I'll be trying to do it as fast as possible!

Good Morning! This is my first post-surgery post. I had my revision on 10/24 and today is the first day I'm really eating all day, all be it a little restricted still. It's sunny and still warm in Phoenix. We are excited since it's supposed to be only 85 degrees as the high for Halloween tomorrow. No storms in site...we could sure use some.
I used to love storms until we lived in Atlanta for 8 years and there were tornados. Since being back in AZ I do enjoy a good storm. We haven't had any rain in over 2 months so you can send some this way.
M1: decaf coffee with a splash of HH & 2/3s of a L&F greek yogurt
M2: 1/2 of a protein shake
M3: TBD
M4: 1/2 of a protein shake
M5: Cheese crisp on a cauliflower tortilla (my DH is trying out a recipe he made yesterday)
Water: I'm already 30 oz in (not something I struggle with)
Vitamins: Start on those tomorrow
