The incision where my stomach came out of still hurts like hell. Any idea when it'll stop? It's literally the only one that hurts and it makes it hard to move !!!

You had your surgery one day before me. Most of my incisions stopped hurting within a week of surgery. The big one (that they took the stomach out of) took a little longer but now has a nice scab and is no worse than a scratch now.

If you are still in that much discomfort, I would suggest contacting your surgeon immediately. Something doesn't sound right.

I actually had my surgery on Tuesday. I had to reschedule the original date but I can't change it in my profile !!!

a week gives me hope. This pain is driving me insane. It's stopping me from sleeping comfortably and is just a pain!!!!!

It will hurt for a little while, I had to sleep with a pillow on top of my tummy for about a month for comfort. The one that hurt the worst for me was the belly button one, not sure if you have one there or not. But I believe thats where the scope went, and it has been the biggest pain in my ass.

I was able to control the pain with 1/4 of a pain pill after surgery for about a week, and then strictly tylenol for pain after that. If it persists longer than a week call your surgeon!

It really depends on the individual. Are you still taking pain medication? If it "hurts like hell" you should call your surgeon ASAP.

That one for me was tender much longer than the others, but I would not say it hurt like hell. If it is really that painful, you might want to touch base with your surgeon. It should not be hurting you so much that it impedes your movement.
