Protein coffee?

happy Thursday!

Silly questions, is the Chike protein coffee decaf? (I don't believe it is based off of what I've read). Since we shouldn't have caffeine - and it makes me feel crazy - I'm looking for something similar. I can drink a giant cup of decaf coffee and put RTD premier protein, but it's exoensive for those shakes. I'm on a budget due to planning a wedding and saving for a house, but my health is also important. I was wondering to try a more cost effective yet just as yummy protein packed decaf coffee. (I purchased the powder tub of premiere and haaaated it).

TIA!

You can use a protein powder in decaf - you just need to temper it first so it won't clump. You can google "tempering" to figure out how, but it basically means mixing the powder with some warm liquid first and then adding it to the coffee.

Thanks! I did that with the PP powder but the taste got to me. Do you have any recommendations for a decent powder?

"Decent" is really subjective, since we all have different tastes. Nashau Nutrition sells sample packets that you could check out. My favorite chocolate is optimum nutrition double rich chocolate since I find it to be a darker, less sweet, chocolate than most.

No Chike does not have a decaf version yet.

Click and Celebrate have decaf Coffee versions.

You could also buy vanilla or any flavor and add a decaf coffee tube. http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com/2016/08/post- weight-loss-surgery-menus-day-in.html

Hey! I use premier protein chocolate shakes. Not the powder the shakes. I make my coffee and then pour in a third of the shake. I drink three cups through the day that way but it is only about 4oz of coffee at a time. I love it.

I love it too! It's a tad expensive and being on a budget doesn't make it easy. I know GNC will take opened products back if you don't like it but, I think sticking with PP is best.

I do the same as Mershmellow, but one PP lasts me for three days (I have two cups of coffee with it per day, so 6 cups total). I found drinking expensive, but using them as creamer isn't terrible.

Having more than one a day certainly gets expensive. I try not to go over one a day for that reason, but sometimes I'm extra lazy and need to hit my goal. The powder goes a lot further, but it just isn't as good. PP is pretty much the only protein shake I can tolerate, minus Chike iced caramel coffee flavor, though it certainly doesn't have the caffeine I really want.

Did you try the powdered premier in coffee yet? One think I did for powder, because it isn't as good, as I bought just regular vanilla powder and some of this. It is a little expensive, but it lasts forever and it is delicious. It smells like a real smore, and the toasted marshmallow flavor of syrup tastes exactly like one. I had to get creative with my shakes at times. It's good in coffee just the same. You can buy a smaller size of that from walmart for half of that price.
