Morning! It's wet and windy here this morning. I believe this is blowing in the cold front because I see a chance of the 's' word in our 10-day forecast and much cooler temps. I'm pretty sure today is one of those days that I'd lose my head if it wasn't attached. I have my 9-month bari center follow up at 8:30am, so I'll be out the door by 7am and it's messed up my whole morning!
QOTD: Do you like snow? I normally appreciate our first big storm of the year where we get a solid 12-18" of snow. I think this meme is fitting:

Welcome to Tuesday! It is going to be rainy (and depressing) here the next couple of days. So hard to WFH in these last days (the final 2 work weeks after this one will be the pits).
QOTD: I like the way snow makes everything look so clean and pretty when it is falling. I don't like the shoveling, slipperiness, cold, or messiness after the first day. Hence our plan to winter in Florida!

Good morning. The cold I've been struggling with is now full fledged laryngitis. I called out of work (it's kind of hard to teach without a voice . . .). My stomach felt pretty wonky yesterday - extra gurgly and full for a couple of hours after meals, even though I didn't over eat. I think I'm going to stick to protein shakes, at least until dinner.
QOTD - I love snow, as long as I don't have to travel in it. I even enjoy shoveling.

Today is a day for doctors. I'm seeing my reconstructive surgeon and my bariatric surgeon today. Hopefully everything will go well with both. The first appointment is my last pre-op appointment so I get to give the surgeon all of my money. Woo!
I'm feeling better physically today. I think my only pain is my persistent plantar fasciitis pain in my left heel, so this is good.
QOTD: I like snow if I don't need to go anywhere. One good snow per winter. Anything other than that? No thank you.

Qotd as I get older I hate it more and more. It is pretty coming down but do not like to get out in it.
I got released yesterday to do my exercise again as long it does not cause pain. Back to walking today and my exercises for my hip.

We have had two beautiful days of sun and I have been taking full advantage of it. Had a great hike along the lake yesterday with my dog Emmy. Plan on doing another one today. Below is a picture from our hike.
QOTD-Erin, that meme is absolutely fitting for me as well! December is lovely, clean, white and crisp. The next 5 months are a cold, gray bucket of suck! Everything is dirty, icy and so horribly cold the snow from December just becomes a hard, crusty bottom layer.
