New girl
I read for hours and hours when I was on the liquid diet. I have learned so much from this site. Two years out and I continue to learn for things to watch out for and how to plan maintenance and so much. The more you know, the more comfortable you will become.

Ditto to LynnAlex. I read every post as far back as I could when I was pre-op. I learned a ton and, as a result, didn't have any surprises :)

Ditto, Ditto - LynnAlex and Gwen! Research as much as you can. If you can't find a particular answer to your question, ask at your next WLS pre-op visit. No question is silly. Your comfort zone is you focus. It's amazing how relaxed you'll be about the entire process when you understand the possibilities.
Best of luck!!!
Pat
