VSG done and I'm home
My vsg surgery was Wednesday. Lap band removed and hernia repaired too! I spent two nights in hospital due to nausea. I'm home and feel great. Pain medication not needed. Hardest part is getting in all these liquids! But I have a variety to choose from. Thanks for all the wonderful information here.

Congrats on the surgery! Liquid intake is definitely a challenge in the beginning. Stay focused on that the first few weeks. You'll do great.
Congrats! Sip and walk as much as possible. :)

Congrats! My surgical team suggested at my last pre-op appt to set my alarm on my phone for every 10 mins and take a medicine cup full of liquid each time the alarm goes off. I thought that was a pretty good idea. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
Congrats! Good luck!

Hope all is progressing well . . . I forgot about the drinking app I had on my phone. Had mine go off every 15 minutes to remind me, especially for when I returned to work. So excited for you. Having the surgery was THE BEST decision I've ever made and so enjoy reading about someone's journey!
