Home, briefly, before heading out to see a movie. I wish some people would realize that, when I get home from being gone, I have **** to do. Like laundry and mail and other stuff. So I can't just listen to them babble about whatever they're reading online. ARGH.

QOTD: No idea, actually! I used to live near the Mushroom Capital of the World, so that was pretty exciting :)

1: eggs benedict (just the eggs, sauce, and canadian bacon)
2: sous vide egg bites x2 (I'm thinking that 1.5 of these would really be perfect for me.)
3: chipotle bowl

liquid and vites: totally off track
exercise: nope

Getting over the flu. Been down for the count the past few days. Even lost my appetite. Today's the first day I feel like I want to eat anything at all.

QOTD: one cool thing about Scottsdale AZ is that it's the end of the ride in the US of the last working pony express, the Hashknife Express. They still do a yearly run but it's just ceremonial now.

B: 2 eggs

L: chicken salad

D: probably Parmesan chicken tenders

No snack yet. That's more than I've eaten all week.

E: none. Will be happy if I can stay awake. Got lots of exercise last weekend, however.

QOTD; We weren't known for squat and I loved it! We had one traffic light and that was only so the middle school kids could cross the street to the elementary school and eat in that cafeteria. You should have heard the uproar when the Department of Transportation came in and added a second traffic light up by the freeway. People kept shooting the traffic lights out for months.

B: nothing! I slept in.

L: refried beans with habanero sauce

D: more refried beans with habanero sauce but this time with pepper crack cheese.

I'm pretty much going to be farting around the rest of the day...

The town I live in now is 1,200 sq/miles and 1,200 residents, but we're all in the little village portion. The rest of our town is 'Forever Wild' and will not be built on, ever. We don't have any traffic lights, our kids have about 20-25 kids per grade level and the only businesses until recently were a corner store and a diner. We now have a General Dollar (which got a similar reception to your 2nd traffic light). Our nearest freeway/interstate is about 90 miles away.

Our area recently got flooded with "Dollar Genitals" as well. Every little town has one all of a sudden. I refuse to go in one. I feel that having one just brings the area down. As crazy as this sounds, I'd rather see a marijuana dispensary instead.

Having a great time in NYC. Hello Dolly with Better Midler was absolutely amazing! I'm trying to choose well foodwise, but hell, who knows.

QOTD: I guess my city, Irvine, is known for being ranked by the FBI as the safest in America for the last 12 years running. But Orange County is like one ginormous city and we're most famous for Disneyland!

B, L, D: Lots of eating out

QOTD: my hometown is Nashville, Indiana. Growing up, every fall we were overtaken by tourists who came to see the change of the leaves in the Hoosier National Forest, which is breath-taking. They buy local art, suck on fresh fudge (earning them the monicker "fudge-suckers"). And raining down tourism dollars on our, then, tiny town.
