Morning! I am home after four long days of training in CT. I'm glad to see my family, my bed, and my coffee pot Today we have my nephew's 1st birthday party and my oldest daughter has a Halloween party to go to. I've been completely sedentary for a week now because of the lack of fitness center in the hotel, so I'm really hoping to get out and get a hike done!

QOTD: What is your hometown (or area) known for? Anything famous? Our town is what the town in Nightmare on Elm Street was named after (our town spelled backward actually). Wes Craven was a professor at the University I work for, many years before the movie.

9 months post-op/Maintenance/134.9lbs

M1: Coffee, PP, Miralax, HC

M2: Fage Total w/ SF Pudding and Almonds

M3: Smoked Salmon & Cream Cheese

M4: Babyback Ribs

M5: Yogurt w/ Pecans

E: Really, really hoping for a hike

Just for fun, here's a picture of my loot from the Smokehouse on the way home (this is not all mine, I had orders from friends and co-workers!).

Good morning! Today is my two month surgiversary. I lost 10.5 lb this month. I was hoping for more, but have been hovering around the same number all week. I would really like to lose 13 lb next month - that would put me under 200. So glad I made this decision!

QOTD - I grew up in a small, rural town in SE PA called Oley. Local legend has it that Daniel Boone met his first Native American while hunting there. It's also home to a famous tree called the Sacred Oak, which was used for Bative American rituals and is over 500 years old. Also, Pennsylvania Dutch (a variation of German) was the primary language of the town until WWII.

B - latte, cottage cheese

L - shrimp, homemade keto ****tail sauce

S - protein shake

D - chicken thighs

E - yoga tape

water and vitamins on track

Good morning! I've never seen Nightmare on Elm Street, so I had to look it up. It says it is in the fictional town of Springwood OH, so what is your town name?

QOTD: I'm in Falmouth, which I guess is mostly known for it's beaches. It has both west facing beaches (on Buzzards Bay) and south facing beaches (on Vineyard Sound and Nantucket Sound) and is the 2nd largest town on Cape Cod (2nd to Barnstable). I am a beach lover so it is the place for me! I think there are somewhere around 11 town beaches plus uncountable private ones.

I was on the CAMAW/AMAW diet this week, so was eating high protein, low carb (meat, cheese and dairy basically). I lost a couple of pounds and reduced my carb cravings (yeah!), but I'm glad to be able to add veggies, etc back in.

1.5 years post-op (maintenance). 13 work days to retirement (11/13).

B: eggbeaters, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon

L: roast turkey and cheese or maybe shrimp (or a bit of both)

D: eggplant lasagne (SIL making it - she waited until I was done with AMAW/CAMAW)

S: Baked apple, yogurt

The name of the town in the movie is Madstop and I live in Potsdam (I actually live in a couple towns over now, but I work in Potsdam and lived there for years & years).

Funny thing - I actually never have seen it. After my mom died I totally stopped watching horror movies and I didn't get around to that one before then. But, I think everyone around here knows enough to talk about our connection to that movie!

Good morning all! Erin, that pic made me drool!

Today is paperwork, paperwork, paperwork. Hurricane repair stuff, unemployment stuff, finish resume and other assorted bits of paper.

QOTD: I originally hail from New York (Queens), but have also spent a significant amount of my life in Baltimore and now Jacksonville, FL so I'm not sure I really have a home town as my family are all scattered to the wind.

22 days post-op

M1: 1 Scoop of unflavored isopure and Campbells 98% FF Broc Cheese Soup

M2: Left over steak! Yum!

M3: TBD w/ a scoop of protein powder

M4: Leftover baked Ricotta and pickles?

M5: Pork chop (another first since surgery)

S: Parm Crisps

E: Riding around on my little chair (has wheels) rather than the electric wheelchair. Managed to do a bunch yesterday and I'm feeling it so I will go easy today.

Vites and water: Excellen****er day yesterday, going for 2 in row again. Vites on track.
