Before your surgery did your emotions go from excitement to totally freaking out?

I just had my VSG on October 11th. It is normal what you are going through but I admit that I did not waiver or hesitate. I think perhaps after going through cancer treatment and having experienced surgery before I felt I had prepared me for this. The pain was not as bad as I thought it would be. Good luck.

I can honestly say no. I was so freaking excited about my surgery and couldn't wait to get rid of my extra weight. I also had full trust in my surgeon. She kept me calm throughout the entire time. You'll do great and everything will go well!
