Huge NSV today!

Or maybe, I should write small nsv, since I am way smaller now. Over the years I accumulated a closet full of suits and sports coats. I have not been able to wear any of them since about January of this year, as they were all baggier than a Soviet tailor's offerings. Until today I have been leading a very happy suitless existence, being a boots, blue jeans, and T shirt country boy at heart.
But things change, and I found myself needing some spiffier threads (an old 70s term for you young'uns). Today my wife hauled me into the Big and Tall store where I have been shopping for years. I am still just as tall, but not nearly so big. One of the reasons I like this place so much is the people who work there. They have always been professional and friendly. The manager was especially friendly today. My wife remarked that she (the manager) thought I was hot. I don't know about that, but she was above and beyond her usual enthusiasm today. I am a geezer, after all.
Today I discovered that I have gone from a size 64 to a size 52 jacket. I don't think I will get any smaller than that, because bones. My shoulders won't get any smaller unless I start hunching over from lack of exercise and protein. And that ain't a gonna happen if I have anything to say about it. The manager recommended taking in the waist just a bit, as it is somewhat baggy. But I can live with that for now. Most of the time it won't be buttoned.
All I need to add to this ensemble is my black Stetson and I'll be ready to go wherever I need for high falutin' behavior. I will confess to feeling a bit like Minnie Pearl with all the tags hanging off me in this picture. For anyone who missed my earlier post, this is what 284 lbs and a BMI of 38 plus looks like at my house. I am down two more pounds since a couple of days ago. Three more and I hit the 200 lbs lost mark.
WOW, so happy for you You look fantastic, enjoy the new threads!
