Hi All,

QOTD: I have no pets. My hubby has allergies. My daughter loves animals, and has never been able to have one. This year she moved into an apartment, and the major consideration was that they allow pets. She now has a 2 year old long haired black cat that she has named Charlie Brown. But no pets for me...

I finally dropped some weight after about 10 days of up and down (mostly up). So I'm feeling better about the weight. its only 6 more days until I leave for South America, so I probably won't lose any more weight before, and I always seem to gain while traveling.

Breakfast - salmon

Lunch - turkey fillets with mixed veggies

Dinner - chicken and spiralized cucumber salad.

snack - My usual atkins peanut butter cup, 5 ounces of red wine and perhaps a cheese stick, if needed.

Good morning all! Off to go for a hike near Laguna Beach this morning, though I'm questioning the sanity of that given it's supposed to be 96 here today. Blech.

QOTD: I've got a 10 year old wonderful golden retriever. Love him to bits!

I'm doing the CAMAW challenge over on the RnY board, so I'll be meat heavy this week.

B - coffee, eggs and bacon

L - leftover salmon

Recently lost a retired racing greyhound to osteosarcoma. We have a border collie/flat coated lab mix and a beagle/foxhound mix. They are great.

B - 5 oz. Oikos Triple Zero Vanilla yogurt and 2 tablespoons Granola Factory Cherry Almond granola

S - small apple

L - 4 ounces chicken salad and 2 cups of mixed greens

S - not sure

D - probably a protein bar - I have a fencing lesson at 6 and have to leave from the office to get there on time. I'll grab something when I get home after fencing because that's usually good for about 1,000 calories burned.

have a great day!

Keep on losing!

What is PB2? And are you able to eat raw almonds already?

PB2 is powdered unsweetened peanut butter (so essentially just ground peanuts). I can eat anything I want, including raw almonds, as I'm 9 months out.

PB2 is peanut flour, The oil is removed, so PB2 has a fraction of the calories of peanut butter. The taste is good, and its a good substitute for peanut butter saving a lot of calories.

I use PB2 often in a shake. It's useful when you're about 5 grams shy of hitting your protein goal.

QOTD: Do you have pets? I used to have a dog, he was 15 years old. ****zu, we got him when I was 6 years old and this past December he was injured badly by a car so we had to put him down. He was blind and deaf, but he was the best dog I could have asked for. He loved to lay in the sun, snuggle on the couch, and roll in the grass. He never barked, or jumped on people, or licked people. Some say that he was more like a cat than a dog. My heart hurts, because I have a void that nothing can fill. So my boyfriend and I are planning to get a pup int he spring time. We are looking into getting a beagle! If anyone has any info let us know! We prefer medium dogs, minimal shedding.

2 months post op(as of yesterday)/down 45lbs from heaviest weight/32 lbs from surgery weight
