Has anyone tried the Celebrate version of Calcium Citrate? I want to use a chewable and this one seems to have the least amount of carbs.

If you used them, did you like them?

I flip between those and the Bariatric Advantage pending on which I can find a better deal on. The Celebrate Berry ones are good, I did not care for their chocolate ones (for some reason they tasted like raisins to me - weird I know). The berry ones are somewhat like a starburst to me.

I started out trying the capsules. They went down way too hard so I switched to Celebrate. They tasted fine to me, but like all of them, they are a little pricey in my opinion. I then switched to a powder to mix in daily drinks. It was inconvenient, and you had to keep swishing the drink to keep it solvent. I now am back on store bought capsules and can take down three or four a day with a swig of water with no problem.

So, to answer your question, the Celebrate chewables were fine with me. :-)

I currently use the caramel flavored Celebrite. I'm not a sweets person. Give me a pork chop over chocolate cake any day! LOL

Before surgery, I got sample packs from Celebrate, Bariatric Advantage, and Barimelts. Before surgery I took over 13 different prescriptions for everything from blood pressure to thyroid and diabetes so I wanted something that would not be a pill.

Barimelts tasted like chalk to me. Bariatric Advantage was ok but pricey. Celebrate seemed like the best option. You can get a huge sample pack for $9.95 to allow you to try all the flavors. I used their brochure and each time I tried a different flavor of vit, calcium, etc, I would mark it Yuck, Ok, or Good. This way I didn't buy a hundred of something that I found I couldn't stand.

I also wanted to get used to the regiment before it was crunch time and I wanted to have what I would take in place so I would be ready after surgery.

Everyone is different so try them before you buy them.

Good luck!

Diane
