Whatcha Eating Today VSGers? Friday 10/13/17
Morning! Today is endurance day. I need to be out of the house by 6:30am and I probably won't walk back in until 10pm if I'm lucky. I do have a black tie dinner to work tonight and I'll hopefully be able to share some pictures of my awesome dress! After today I have another 7am - 12pm or so tomorrow and I'll be done with another Board of Trustees.
QOTD: Do you like to dress up or are jeans your thing? I wear dresses/business casual attire to work all week. I really like jeans and work out clothing on the weekends. But, I've found that finding a dress for dinner has been much more fun at an average weight than when I was MO!

Isn't today Friday the 13th (I think so)? I don't miss the days like yours when I was booked from dawn to bedtime. That used to be the norm especially when I worked fulltime and went to school at night (did that for about 8 years).
QOTD: I like to wear jeans and other casual clothes, but definitely like to have a reason to dress up occasionally. I'm still wearing my nice work clothes to the office (when I go in), even though they went fully casual a few months ago. And I love a reason to get super dressed up once in a while (now that I can wear something nice). I already have a black velvet/lace dress and velvet pumps for a few occasions coming up (none of the people overlap so I can wear it more than once).
1.5 years post-op (maintenance). 19 work days to retirement (11/13).

Good morning! Thanks for all of the advice yesterday. I'm going to continue avoiding fruit, but was it helpful to add in some veggies as a snack. I usually go from 11 - 6 between meals. Despite a protein shake around 3, I'm still hungry in the afternoon (as in, cooking dinner is really difficult because I have to keep myself from eating as I'm cooking). I ate about a quarter cup of roasted vegetables after drinking my shake, and it really helped, and I didn't have trouble finishing my protein at dinner. I'm allowed to start eating seeds and skin starting Monday, so I can start eating cucumbers without deseeding them.
QOTD - I dress pretty casually at work - jeans or work pants, plain shirt or sweater, and boots. I enjoy dressing up occasionally but I wouldn't enjoy it as much if I had to do it every day. I started fitting into some dresses that I haven't worn in almost ten years, and it's been fun to wear them again (especially hearing the comments from people who aren't used to seeing me in a dress).

Today is massage day! And "leave for weekend getaway" day! And finish up rough draft of paper and submit assignment #3 for classes day! Woo!
QOTD: I used to be a jeans and t-shirt person, but then I lost weight and it pretty much became impossible to find jeans that fit correctly. So I switched to wrap skirts and t-shirts. Now I wear a lot of very casual dresses since, post-bracioplasty, shirts were hard to get on, so it was easier to wear sleeveless dresses. I have no fashion sense, so my clothing is pretty much all over the place.

2: steak! (flank steak or skirt steak leftovers)
3: no idea since I don't know where I'll be when it's time to eat.
