I have used them for over 3 years and never had that issue. You may have had a bad batch. If you decide to try them again, make sure the area is clean and dry, no lotions or oily body bath soap. If you have any issues be sure and let the company know.

Actually, if it was a "bad batch," it was two bad batches because I bought two packages and they both do that. And yes, I apply them to clean dry skin. I do wear another patch that is a prescription patch and it adheres quite nicely. I'm not going to use them any more, anyway, as my surgeon said there is just not enough research behind the patches for her to recommend their use.
