Whatcha Eating Today VSGers? Saturday 10/7/17
Good Morning! This is the first weekend in awhile that I don't have any major plans. My kids both have plans with friends (one here, one going somewhere) today and then they are going to a Halloween get together with my Aunt tomorrow. So far it looks like it may rain quite a lot, but I'm hoping maybe to get in some hiking if it doesn't rain too bad. There's a trail we want to do in a 107,000-acre parcel of wild land. Doesn't that seem insane?
QOTD: Do you/did you have a planned reward for when you hit goal? Jon told me he'd buy me an expensive dress of my choosing when I hit goal. I have opted to save buying it until after I have plastic surgery though. I also have said that I'd really like us to take a beach vacation after my plastic surgery so I can wear a two-piece bathing suit for the first time in my life. Sadly, hurricanes have taken out a good number of the places I was considering going to! I'd also like Jon and me to take this "Five Ponds" hike that is a 20-mile totally remote multi-day hike. Maybe next summer when we have someone to watch the kids.

Good morning. I hope you get your hike in! My day is centered around SIL's birthday. The 3 BSFs (Best Sister Friends - all SIL's) are going to go shopping/exploring today then meet the two brothers (also DH's) for dinner.
QOTD: I didn't really have a reward planned for goal, though I guess the PS I had a few months after achieving goal was that. It has given me a lot of incentive to keep maintaining (after spending the money on a TT, I don't want to ruin the flat tummy that I NEVER had before). I did wear a 2 piece this summer btw (with a more substantial top and bottom than the bikinis that young women wear).
1.5 years post-op (maintenance). 23 work days to retirement (11/13).
B: eggbeaters, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon
L: Out to lunch
D: out to dinner

A quick check in this morning... Having a great time in Sedona with my friends. Two hikes yesterday and one each today and tomorrow. It's work to stay hydrated here! So beautiful though.
This was me being silly after scrambling up to Devil's Bridge. So scary for me with my fear of heights, but I'm really glad I did it!
Hope everyone has a great weekend...
Good morning,
Im up early for a change. That's what you get for going to bed early. Have a lot of errands to run today.
Qotd didn't really plan a reward for getting to goal. I still haven't reached my ultimate goal of 150. But passed my first choice of goal of 175. When you weigh over 300 pounds a normal weight seems impossible.
B ham and cheese omelette and string cheese
L tuna, cottage cheese and honeycrisp apple
D rotisserie chicken and some kind of vegetable
Have a good day
I had to take an exam this morning at my alma mater for my teaching certification. I haven't been here in years, but I'm glad it's early and my favorite Vietnamese place isn't open yet - I'm not sure I could resist the eggplant tofu. Heading out to meet with a friend and grab a quick lunch, then to the thrift store to drop off two bags and hopefully find some pants that fit.
QOTD - I'm planning on splurging on a consultation with a stylist when I hit my goal. I think that I will need help choosing clothes that suit my body. I also want to take a class in fitting and tailoring. I'd love to make more of my own clothes, but when I've done it in the past I look like I'm wearing a potato sack.
B - 2% Fairlife latte
L - probably a kids meal at Boston Market
S - protein shake
D - tuna salad
E - I want to explore a trail near my house for the first time
water and vitamins on track

I'm back in weight loss mode after finding myself over my comfort zone :(
Exercise: none, I follow a bright-line eating plan where exercise is banned during weight loss mode.
Good morning all,
I started walking daily to get in shape for my trip which is only 2 weeks away. But since I started walking my weight has been going up a 1/2 pound a day. I know it can't be real as I've been sticking to plan, but it is frustrating.
breakfast - salmon
lunch - chicken and cucumber salad
dinner - beef stroganoff and salad - having friends for dinner, so I'll probably go off plan a little.
QOTD: I planned a cruise to Greece, Turkey and Israel. I left on my 1 year surg-iversary. I posted a picture of myself fitting in an airplane seat with about a foot of extra length on the seatbelt. That's one of my favorite pictures!
Have a good weekend everyone.
