I was able to leave the hospital with all medications for diabetes discontinued ! Praising God for that right now Amen.

I hope the worst is behind you.

Soon you'll well on your way to the life you want.

I'm just over 2 weeks post-op, and I would do it again if I had to. The benefits come to light quickly .

You'll see !

I received my sleeve on 9/18. It is weird to hurt from recovery and be super excited about the journey ahead. My daughter, 10, has been really worried about progress. She told me that she is afraid I will never be ok again. I had to explain to her that I will be better than okay. I will be out riding bikes and walking with her. She continued to be skeptical until yesterday when we went for a two mile wal****pt saying to her that I am ok and that I felt great, only then did she start to believe me. Good luck on your journey.

Best wishes with your recovery! Being sent home without diabetes medication is the best feeling!
