Question About Cooked Veggies!
So I am still technically on soft foods, and I have 6 more weeks until I can eat raw fruits/veggies.
That makes me question about like the veggie pasta. I saw a recipe for zoodles (zucchini noodles) and I wanted to try and make like a spaghetti or even a lasagna from them. But I didn't see anywhere in the recipe to "cook" the noodles. I don't want to not cook them ya know? So if anyone has done this, during soft foods, please help me out!
What can I do to make them?

I make zoodles regularly for my family, but I wouldn't necessarily think they would be mushy enough for a new post-op. I sauté them in butter over low heat with a cover on the pan until they are as soft as I'd like.
I know that waiting out the veggie thing sucks, but you don't have enough room for any veggies right now anyway. Eat the protein! I didn't have a single veggie for over 5 months At 8 months out I don't really eat raw veggies still, because I only have room for a bite or two.
Perfect example - I just had 2.5oz of chicken thigh and 2 florets of crisp cooked broccoli and I'm too full

Honestly, you're best off avoiding veggies right now, no matter how soft. Your body needs protein, 60 - 80g or more, and there's no room in your new sleeve because the protein needs to come first.
That said, when I make zoodles I usually sautee them in butter or olive oil until they get a little bit soft, then I put sauce on top. I'm not sure how you'd handle pieces to do lasagna, maybe boil them quickkly?
If you want something spaghetti-like, try Eggface's ricotta bake, it's perfectly fine for the "soft food" phase!
