What's that phrase? "Comparison is the thief of hope?" Try not to compare yourself to his ex - he's choosing to be with you, and that's what matters :)

I think the actual quotation might be "thief of joy" I don't remember - but the sentiment is close enough :)

Speaking as someone who has been divorced, the ex-wife is an ex for a reason, gorgeous or no.

He's choosing to be with you and not his ex at the moment. :)

I follow a ketogenic diet post-op. I also have a diagnosis of binge eating disorder. Feel free to ask me about either!

I think you should really put it out there and see if he is willing to accept you as you are. There doesn't seem to be any point in wondering if he will be into your body if he can't respect the incredible journey you have been on to lose the weight and get healthy. I say if your seriously that concerned about how he will respond to your excess skin, then you should take some time to get comfortable with your new body before you expose yourself to possibly being judged based on it.

Sorry but 5 dates seems a bit soon to take it to that level of intimacy, but I am a bit older than you. If he loves YOU then He will love you regardless of how much skin is hanging.

Make sure your ready and not just letting hormones gets the best of you

I'll default to the wisdom of my husband on this one.

"Who cares if they're saggy or wrinkly? They're BOOBS, and YOUR boobs, and therefore they are awesome. That's how guys work."

Congrats on meeting your goal. Feels great, doesn't it!

Regarding the question on the new guy, consider that you are letting your weight, or lack thereof, interfere with your personal happiness. Put that phase of life behind you. Having said that, if you choose to be intimate with this guy, I would speak to him ahead of time about these concerns. You can say, "I lost a lot of weight a while back and feel a little self conscious about my body. Is that going to be a problem for you?" Having said that, most guys don't care a hoot about sags or fat if you have sexy underwear! Diane S

Ditto to Sparklekitty... my hubby says guys (at least the good ones) are happy to get to be seeing/touching the bewbs, and don't tend to be hyper-critical about them. All bewbies are good bewbies according to hubby. :D LOL.

I would take this as an excuse to go buy some REALLY NICE lingerie. I don't have a TON of loose skin, but it's enough to make me a little self conscious and the bewb droop is for realz. But I can camoflauge a LOT with properly fitted lingerie with lots of drapey lace. :D
