Morning! It's already Wednesday. Taking Monday off helped move the week along for me. Jon's birthday is on Friday and we're headed to VT on Saturday so he can ride a motorcycle trial. It's supposed to be much cooler by then, so I'm sure I'll go from sweating to freezing! Friday night we're going to go out to a BBQ place for dinner for his birthday.

Today is my day full of meetings and then I'm headed out to lunch with some co-workers. I'm going to stop by my trainer's studio tonight and have him test my body fat percentage for me. We found out that it was reading pretty accurate (actually dead on) to my DEXA scan at the beginning of August. I haven't been going to him, but I want to see how I'm doing.

E: Maybe a walk/hike this evening if we can convince the kids. When I got home last night the kids were at friends so Jon and I huffed out 3 miles before their "curfew" (6:30pm, hahaha).

I'm feeling a little overwhelmed today. I'm in a new position at school (and missed the first week of teacher prep because of surgery), and I'm having trouble getting everything done. I'm hardly doing anything for my own classes because I have so much administrative work to do.

B - 2% Fairlife latte, cottage cheese

L - leftover drumsticks and eggplant

S - protein shake

D - taco lettuce wrap (on tortillas for the family)

E - getting those 9k steps

Considerably cooler here starting today...hello Fall! Tomorrow I see a new surgeon about my badly needed hysterectomy. I can't wait to get this thing out and over with. I look like I'm 6 months pregnant lol...and it makes me mad cuz when I look down I still look fat...all I see is belly! Hopefully out and healed before Christmas! (I call it my 10lb savings account...pooof, I'll be 10 lbs lighter! lol)

B: Dannon L&F vanilla yogurt w/natural peanut butter and Fiber One cereal, coffee w/H&H and xylitol

L: Pepperoni, Swirls cheese sticks, fresh yellow squash slices w/avocado ranch dressing

Sounds like you're busy, busy!

I'm awake a bit earlier than normal in order to get through the shower before everyone else because I'm leaving whenever my friend gets here (before 9am) and driving north to NY to see Stephen King and Owen King talk about their new book! I am excited! Although I can't believe I'm driving something like 12 hours total to see my favorite author speak for about an hour :P Just call me Kathy Bates.

I'll volunteer the QOTD if anyone sees it: Who is your favorite author? Would you drive 12 hours to see them speak?

As a result, I have no idea what I'm eating today.

1: protein bar
2: no idea, but it might be a Wawa wrap
3: no idea, it'll depend on when we get to the hotel, how much time we have before the box office opens, and what's around

liquid and vites: will be on track. The friend I'm traveling with is a big drinker, so she will encourage me to hydrate!
exercise: nope. And I predict a very sore bottom by the end of the trip. I am taking my Purple seat cushion though!

I saw that book on Audible and thought about it. Please let me know how it is. I have a few of his books, and audible books. My favorite is Duma Key. I can sit and listen to that book over and over and over again. It is one of those books that transports me into the pages and I can see it all unfolding around me as if I were the main character!

Crazy day here - at the office then off to a fencing lesson and two hours of fencing class. (Tournament Sunday!) No fridge at work or microwave so my choices are limited.

B - Coffee, 5 ounces Oikos Triple Zero vanilla with 1/4 c Granola Factory Cherry Almond quinoa granola

S - small apple

L - 1.5 cups mixed greens with 4 ounces cranberry almond chicken salad (little containers from costco)

S - Sargento snacker - cheese and almonds

D - Protein bar between lesson and class

D-2 - some kind of carb when I get home because I will have burned 1200 calories fencing and need something or my body revolts.

Drinking - coffee, water and G2.
