Had a job interview this morning...feel like it went well so fingers crossed! Sitting at a diner where I treated myself to breakfast cooked by someone else...so good! After this, home to change then off to Hellmart for groceries then back home to dive into more reading for classes.

QOTD: I hate exercising but the least offensive is using my elliptical. I used to love swimming but haven't done it in 20+ years. Maybe next summer.

Good morning everyone!

Missed the sun rise this morning cuz I slept in, first time in a VERY long time! My 5:30am mental clock failed me today:-) Going to get my house in order today, I let it go pretty bad after my shoulder surgery...so today is the day to tackle it! My flowers are still doing really well, especially the cosmos. We haven't had our first frost yet so they look great.

QOTD-I used to love to swim and kayak, but my shoulder has prevented me from doing either in a long time. I tried to swim at the health club but it hurt too bad. Now I like to walk and am beginning to love hiking. I never understood people who hiked, but now I do! I signed up for a beginning Zumba class for this winter and am looking forward to it.

B-Flax, chia & mixed nut "porridge" w/half & half

L-Vanilla protein shake w/PB2 powder

S-Chai tea

D-Going out for dinner before weekly Maj Jong game...probably a salad.

Hi gang! Happy Tuesday....I hate not being able to post every day during the week like I used to, but it is so insanely busy at work and in personal life right now. Might be getting in a new litter of 4 pups a week from Friday to foster. Wowza......

QOTD: water aerobics...just wish there was a pool in our neighborhood.

Good Morning All - Hump Day here and we have a holiday Friday. Another busy day and night getting organised. Took the puppies for their annual shots then mowed the back lawn just before dark. Walked at lunchtime and it felt so good to exercise. Never thought I would be caught dead saying that !!!

I didnt get to the produce store to get the cattle drench so thats first on the agenda tonight. Then have to pack for the weekend, organise all the drench etc for the cattle, shop and prepare the trailer as Im towing it to work tommorrow so I can pick up our diesel generator for the farm. Staying with old neighbours tommorrow night. Friday will be showing some people who bought our ewes how to ring tails etc then another catch up with some friends from our old town. Then onto the farm. Looking forward to seeing the shed progress.

QOTD: Well I used to basically not exercise due to my knee and the amount of pain I would be in. Im so thankful to be able to start walking without suffering. Bought a fitbit yesterday as I would like to work up to 10,000 steps a day.

Qotd: I prefer lifting weights, but oddly enough trail running has always been right up there too. It was always so hard on me as a big guy. I have done a couple of tough mudders at 300+ pounds. I should be quicker now! :) I am thinking really hard about signing up for the spartan race in Hawaii next year. It will be at 13 months post opp and should keep me motivated.
