Hi,

I've been reading on here for a while, but I'm finally posting.

My Surgeon's office has submitted paperwork to the insurance company, so now for that wait.

Just have one more test that my surgeon is requiring, and I can't get that till I turn 50 (insurance!), so a colonoscopy will be my late birthday present (3 days after) in October.

Surgery date is scheduled for Nov 16, 2017, as long as all is well with the colonoscopy.

Psych eval, 4 nutrition visits, cardiologist & stress test, pulmonologist & sleep study, Barium swallow test, H-Pylori test, nicotine and other blood tests.

Everyone on here has posted such great info. I felt like I had done my homework when I went for my consultation.

Thanks,

Cindy

How long have you been waiting for approval since submitted to your insurance?

All the paperwork was finally submitted last Wednesday, so it hasn't been long.

They said to allow about 3 weeks or so.

Approval came back! That was quicker than I expected.
