Whatcha eating today VSGers? Thursday, 9/21/2017
Yeah, the only time I've really vomited post-op from food (and I wouldn't really call it vomiting, more like coughing food up) was when I ate some grilled salmon that was way overcooked and dry. Totally unpleasant :P

I'm guessing you dietician didn't have WLS (haha), or you're starting soft foods way later than I did! I could eat about 1/2-3/4 of a large scrambled egg and nothing more. What you have planned for breakfast would be a reasonable portion of food for me now at 8 months. I still only eat one egg. I was eating roughly 1oz weighed per meal at first.
I really don't understand why they even talk about 'not eating enough' that early out. I think I was probably 3-4 months in when I hit 500 calories.

Maybe they made your sleeve bigger because you're male? I'm not sure how that's all decided. You aren't far ahead as far as surgery date, but I noticed you can eat 4oz of meat plus some side. I can eat about 2.5-3oz at this point. I can do one egg or two "small eggs" (we have a chicken who lays eggs that fall under the USDA guideline for small they are so tiny) and 1/4 cottage cheese. If I do only eggs though I still can't just sit and eat two large eggs.

QOTD: Currently finishing off Iron Fist on Netflix before watching The Defenders. I can't recommend Daredevil highly enough. There are two seasons. Regular TV- I am desperately waiting for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. I am recording Outlander for binging. During the regular season I watch all NCIS, Bull, Lethal Weapon, and I'm sure a few more. I am a Forensic junky.

Got trapped in Buckle again yesterday. Got a few cute cold shoulder tops. One makes me look flat chested, which is really weird, but its pretty.
Have a great day!
Sigh the Marvel series on Netflix. I watched Daredevil immediately when it came out and then LIFE HAPPENED so I've only gotten through the first few episodes of Jessica Jones. Lance has watched them all, since he has more time, and promised to watch them with me when I finally had time. Now, however, we're prioritizing current TV (so the DVR doesn't get too full) and random HBO shows because Verizon decided to give us free HBO until the end of the year so we want to get the most from that as we can :)

Good morning, All!
QOTD - These QOTD's are so much fun. I'm so glad one of you started this! I'm also hooked on BBC mysteries like midsummer murders, etc. But lately, I'm watching programs on Netflix with Spanish dialogue so I watch the story and practice my Spanish. On a good day, it takes me 2 hours to go thru a 1 hour program, with al the pausing to translate, and dictionary look-ups. I do watch NCIS and NCIS LA, as well as Big Bang and Frasier for entertainment, as well.
I'm still plodding away on my diet. Slowly but surely.
Breakfast - salmon
Lunch - cheeseburger pie
Dinner - probably buffalo chicken spaghetti squash.
Snack - salad with spiralized cucumber and red peppers with a spicy peanut sauce. - good low cal, filling and tasty. Also my usual one atkins snack bar for my bit of chocolate.
happy Thursday, everyone
Carol
