Last night was surprised by a friend I hadn't seen in 12 years. I wound up scraping the insides of a piece of Giordano's into a bowl at the restauraunt and eating that, heh.

Today-> back to work!

M1: protein, 30g (premier - still can't get rid of this dang things)

M2: meat protein "shake" (basically just bone broth and beef puree) 4oz

M3: Siggi yogurt, 5oz.

M4: 4oz tilapia with rosemary and lemon.

I follow a ketogenic diet post-op. I also have a diagnosis of binge eating disorder. Feel free to ask me about either!

Good morning!

QOTD: Mostly I've had nice comments, but two people have given me the concerned face and asked if I'm well. I don't look sick! I suppose it's the rate of loss, but jeez, give a girl a complex why don't you...

B - coffee and yogurt

L - leftover sausage

D - pork tenderloin w/ pineapple salsa

I have to tell you guys that I love and look forward to these posts every day. It's such a great snapshot into the life of the VSG and eating.

I guess having lost over 100lbs with my band and then regaining half - the thing that strikes me is not so much what people have said/say but, how they treat you. Definitely a HUGE difference in interaction with people. I often wonder if that's because I changed, they changed, or BOTH?

I'm not going to post what I'm eating today because I'm still pre-surgery. However, I am already trying to incorporate some of this eating into my day.

It's 1pm and I've already eaten my calories, protein, and carbs for the day. No more food for me. Ever since I reached my first goal (2 days ago) I've gone way over on calories because I like to celebrate with food! It's ridiculous. Back to basics tomorrow.

QOTD: It drives me crazy when my husband tells me he is worried that I will lose too much weight. First of all, does this look effortless or does it look like I'm working my butt off? It's not easy losing this weight and it's not just going to fall off excessively without me noticing! Second of all, you never voiced concern about my health or body when I was obese. I promise there was much more reason for concern back then!

Once my weight (and sizes) got to be similar to my mom's I noticed that she would make disparaging comments about herself when the topic came up. So now I just don't discuss it with her. I'll talk about overall health and exercise, but not numbers. It seems healthier for her that way :P

Good Morning All :) Flying to Sydney this afternoon and cant wait. Have booked a massage for my friend and I after breakfast tommorrow so that will be a real treat.

QOTD: I am thankful to have had mostly supportive comments but one friend has been very judgemental about the whole WLS and the mental health effects. The way she worded it left me feeling like a scolded child but I couldnt be happier with my decision. Im Happy and Hubby even though he loved me unconditionally while I was HUGE is enjoying the smaller me :)

B: 1/2 Egg and Lettuce Sandwich - running around packing this morning and left my breakfast in the fridge!

Rest of the day will be up in the air. Something Protein once I am in the Qantas Club at the airport

Have a great weekend all :)
