after seeing my nutritionist and therapist I was really motivated and ready to go. I felt like I wanted to start new, like a new beginning. No I haven't lost my mind, last year was a difficult year, was in hospital due to malnutrition and was put on a different med. that's when the wt gain started, I was holding steady last time with I think 15 lbs til goal, well, anyway, yeah I wanted to start fresh as for deleting posts, I just didn't like what I was seeing. So I deleted them. Thank you for your comments and my goodness you have really been successful. I need your motivation and Gwens but I'm ready now, I really am, all those clothes I bought don't fit and it bothers me. Appreciate any help I can get. YOu go girl
When they tell you fiber and protein, think fiber from vegetables instead of foods high in carbs. That overnight oatmeal is amazing, but doesn't really give you much else but a full belly and a shot of energy that if left unused, goes straight to your rear end. I would revisit oatmeal after hitting your goal. Otherwise, if you're going for an intensive workout first thing in the morning, enjoy some oatmeal beforehand, and then enjoy an egg when you're done to help repair the muscle you just worked. If your morning is just getting ready for work, that egg will kick your brain in gear and get you ready.
Convenience foods like skinny pop and luna bars are pure crap. Instead, try avoiding all processed convenience foods. You'll have a better idea what you're feeding your body and can do so very thoughtfully. Stick with whole foods the way nature made them, and avoid chemically processed foods altered to be lower carb or lower fat (never lower fat). You'll feel more satisfied, too.
