Excessive mucus
I don't know if it's related to the sleeve, but I can tell you that often when people are put under general anesthesia and are intubated, there can be a build up of mucous. Did they give you a spirometer?

Mucus isn't uncommon while you get the gunk out of your lungs from anesthesia. Getting in fluids is a FT job right now, and feels nearly impossible. Just remember that 64oz is the minimum goal daily. You don't work up to it - you just do it. Try different flavors and even temperatures. For some reason, that makes a difference.
