It's absolutely possible to be in ketosis while maintaining! If you eat a ketogenic diet, which has high fat, adequate protein, and low carb, your body will stay in that state. There are definitely people who go permanently keto to address other health problems, like epilepsy, while maintaining their weight.

(That's my understanding at least; others please chime in with more/better info!)
