Prayers for your father being "Malignancy Free"! I love it every year when my mom reports that to me!!

I pack my breakfast and lunch for work, but otherwise I don't keep snacks on hand. With so many fast-fresh options even at convenience stores, it's pretty easy for me to find something healthy. I remember doing Weigh****chers about 10 years ago and ALWAYS having an arsenal of food with me at all times. Looking back, it's amazing how obsessed I was with food, especially snacks. You'd think I was going to starve or something.

Today's food...

Breakfast: 2 mini turkey sausage and cheddar egg muffins

Snack: Skinny latte

Lunch: 2 oz. filet mignon (if I can eat it all) and asparagus

Dinner: 2 oz. short ribs and mashed cauliflower

Exercise: Orangetheory Fitness (60-minute workout)

B: yogurt and coffee

L: turkey sausage and zucchini stir fry

D: chicken breast

S: turkey jerky if hungry

QOTD: I pack my lunch every morning and if I'm travelling I will make sure I have food ready to go, but I'm not the type to prepare a bunch of food ahead of time - I hate leftovers for the most part, unless I can get them back into a real oven and doctor them up. I really enjoy fresh food; reheated, not so much.

B: protein shake

L: 4 oz spiced up chicken

S: protein shake

D: chimichangas

E: at least 6 km walking and 72 flights of stairs

(Psst, it's Tuesday.)

My classes started yesterday for real and I've got a lot of work to do. First major assignment is due this weekend in one and I've got to pick a topic for research in the other. I'm thinking about "Obesity Treatment for Older Adults." (It's a class about physical aging.) I also registered for my Spring 2018 classes yesterday. I considered doing six, but then remembered that I want to start working in my field AND I need to pay for those classes now, while in the middle of paying for reconstructive surgeries, so I opted to just register for four classes.

QOTD: I'm less of a food prepper/planner now. I really only have a stockpile of Quest bars and that's because I don't eat enough to keep up with the Amazon subscription and need to skip a few months of deliveries. I've also got 3-4 extra tubs of different protein powders in the house, but that's because reconstructive surgery = more shakes each day = need for variety. When I travel, I really only take a protein bar per day along with me, "just in case," but I know I can easily find food anywhere and I love Wawa.

1: apparently I needed asparagus, because I had asparagus for breakfast.
2: protein shake a bit later, because I still also need protein.
3: Wawa chicken caesar wrap that I got for Saturday's "just in case" meal since I was at a conference that was providing lunch - turned out I could eat the lunch, so I've still got this wrap
4: leftover tilapia!

liquid and vites: on track
exercise: I think I'll go for a walk, it seems nice outside and I'm up to date on my allergy shots.

Whoops! Fixed it. I always pick the auto complete for the subject and edit the date. Apparently today I forgot to edit Monday to Tuesday.

I had asparagus last night. It's so good and makes your pee smell so bad

When I read the subject initially I was like "woo! It's only Monday! I have more time than I thought to get my things done this week!" Then I checked my bar on my screen. "Dammit." :P

I love asparagus so much. And once in a blue moon, my body is just like "fuck protein, eat all the veg."

It's sort of annoying since Art will complain that I don't cook enough veg anymore (which I do) but then when I do cook veg, the leftovers just hang around in the fridge until I toss them. So, dude, eat the veg I cook!
