Whatcha Eating Today VSGers? Monday 9/11/17
Busy week... rehearsal tomorrow evening, performances Wednesday afternoon, Friday night, two performances Saturday, and a performance on Sunday.
Then it will be one short wee****il I fly off to Vancouver for my first cruise since surgery. I'm a little concerned... food is such a huge part of cruising, how am I going to handle it? Will I be frustrated? Will I eat too much? I don't know how to prepare for this... :-(
Actually, it's my first flight since surgery as well. I'm looking forward to fitting properly into the seat!

So stinking busy lately! I haven't been able to be here as much as usual.
Qotd. I was driving a special needs school bus and I heard about it on the radio. About half of my stops stayed home from fear.
B: 4 slices of bacon
L: chicken enchilada
D: bacon wrapped chicken thighs stuffed with mushrooms, garlic, onion and parsley. A mushroom cap stuffed with spicy pork sausage, cream cheese and topped with parmesan cheese. All of which I smoked.
It was! Yesterday I also made smoked bacon wrapped corn. My wife made her amazing baked beans. I had a stuffed shroom, 1/3 of a small ear of corn and some of her beans.
Good Morning All. Didnt make it here yesterday. Hectic Hectic. Still working on finalising Tax as seeing the accountant on Thursday evening. Have also started to clear out my boxes from my mums garage - which means lots of sorting, throwing and donating. Another box to the Op Shop yesterday on my travels. Its my eldest sons birthday today - cant believe he is 20 already. Super proud of him and all he has achieved. I made an Apple Sour cream slice last night and dropped it over to his Dads this morning at 5.30am. He will find it in the fridge when he wakes no doubt.
Had my follow up appointment with my surgeon yesterday - will put that in another post...
QOTD: I was just finishing teaching a scrapbooking class when the ladies husband came in and said about the first tower. We watched in disbelief on the TV. By the time I made it home, both towers had gone. Awful dark day
B: Emiepies Egg Salad with Bacon - wrapping in lettuce leaf for some crunch
S: Babybel Cheese
L: Lettuce leaf with chicken and mayo
S: Yoghurt - have to keep up protein
D: TBD - have hair apt and visiting my son after work so will be later home

snack - sugar-free fat free pudding and a glass of wine...
1080 calories and less than 40 grams of carbs... If I can keep this up, I should see some results on the scale soon.
QOTD: It was my first day of seminary - we were just starting our orientation when the first plane struck... Needless to say, I never got an orientation! What a sad, sad thing - all the losses, all the pain and suffering brought into the world that day!
On a happier note, I went to the travel clinic today and got all my shots and meds for my trip to South America - only 40 more days... I'd really like to lose at least 8 pounds before I go, as I always gain weight on vacations.

2 weeks out today & first day of pureed food. Yessssssssss :-)
Yah :-) my first time to participate! I do not know what has overcome me but i have already been getting a pep in my step. I took my 2 sons who are 4 and 2 hiking Saturday and yesterday I took them for a bike ride. It's really nice.
9/11 I was in the car with my aunt listening to it all on the radio while she drove me home from a visit with her and my gparents
BF: Caramel Protein Shake and a dash of coffee with lots of ice...took me 4 hours to drink
Lunch: 2oz of fat free refried beans, shredded cheese and a dab of sour cream...pureed together of course :-)
Supper: 1oz of my wonderful pureed lunch
So thankful that Irma turned and we made it through with only tropical storm conditions and did not lose power...praying for all of those who were not as lucky as us. Things have been busy at the deer shop and Im just getting back home.
QOTD I had just started my freshman year of college and was getting ready to make the 45 min drive to school when my mom came in and told me something was going on. I can remember sitting on the arm of the couch, glued to the TV, and crying. I called my husband (boyfriend at that time) at work and they had no idea and thought I must be crazy or making it up, so they turned on the radio and were shocked.

QOTD: I had moved to Phoenix a few months prior where my parents had retired. However I grew up in NY. My parents lived in NYC for a long time and I had several clients in 1WTC. My mom called me at 5:30 am and told me to turn on the tv. I felt like my stomach dropped to the floor. I still canno****ch the coverage when 9/11 comes around.
