Whatcha Eating Today VSGers? Wednesday 9/6/17
Hi All,
The scale was up 2 pounds today, and I've been so good on the diet. I know these fluctuations are normal, and I know better than to weigh myself daily. but it still bums me out!
Breakfast - salmon
Lunch - cold chicken salad in spicy peanut sauce over spiralized cucumbers
dinner - philly cheese steak sloppy joes - left over, need to finish that last serving!
snack - sugar-free fat-free pudding, atkins snack bar, a glass of red wine
QOTD - I am now retired, and doing some volunteer work with elderly and immigrants. Formerly, I taught emotional literacy in the prisons, and ran a non-profit that ran volunteer-led programs behind the wall to help inmates gain the skills they needed to succeed when leaving prison. I loved the work, but at one point the administration changed in the prison and the new admin started dismantling many of the programs I had developed, and I decided it was time to leave. So now I'm feeling a it under-challenged and need to find more productive uses for my time. But this break has given me time to travel, study Spanish, and regroup a little.
