School starts tomorrow! (I'm a middle school English teacher.) Woo hoo!
B: coffee with unsweetened almond milk, two soft eggs, half piece of toast with butter, two pc. bacon
L: protein shake with flax/chia seeds/cashew milk (unsweetened)
D: 3 oz. protein, green salad w/olive oil & vinegar dressing
Promise to self: No nuts or nut butters today. Also no yogurt. Will drink at least 64 oz. water and go to Aqua Yoga class.

QOTD: Since my OCD tendencies get worse and worse the older I get, it's really hard to pick just one! lol However, I would say my biggest pet peeve these days is people who don't use their stinkin' turn signals! OMG it drives me insane! I started to wonder if they just don't put them on new cars now. No, don't wait until you're TURNING to use it (if they use it at all)! And if you're already IN the designated left turn lane...yeah, we pretty much already know you're gonna turn so it's too late now, Harry! UGH! The rule is 100 feet before the intersection/turn, people! Ahem...okay, I'm done now (grinz).
Busy week of pre-fall cleaning and moving stuff around and into storage ahead. I am not looking forward to it!

QOTD: Erin, I am with you on the waiting until the last minute thing. I hate it! I can't stand feeling rushed or feeling pressure when trying to get somewhere all because we fiddled around. I'd much rather be super early to my destination. Then I can relax.

Good Morning All
Another cold morning - we have a super cold week forecast - great start to Spring huh :)
Hubby is down with a head cold - started on the way home from our weekend - so I spent last night looking after a sickie and posted him into bed way early. It meant I was free to potter with our 3 dogs. Watched a documentary on Obesity - was very interesting (normally hubby dominates the TV remote - male thing). Made Empies Egg Salad yummo
QOTD: Im like a lot of you - I hate being late and/or not prepared. I schedule timings in my head when we are going away or out etc - once I have done this Im fine but Im certainly not a fly by the seat of my pants kinda girl

Out of bed at 5:15 a.m. for a 15k walk this morning.
QOTD: I have a couple of things that set me off, but I think the top ones are:
- People who let their children run rampant, or make no attempt to keep them calm/civilized in public
- People who are late (though I'm getting better, my spouse runs on Late Time and after 12 years I'm coming to peace with it)
- People who don't pay attention

Doing a pure protein fast because my eating habits are starting to become bad and the cravings are getting worse ughh

Snack: more smoked salmon and ff cheese
Good Morning, VSGers! For my kids, this is the last day before school starts. Everyone in my house has the day off except for me. Labor Day isn't a holiday when classes just started on 8/28 I guess.
Because yesterday was a crappy, rainy day I went to GNC to get some protein bars. On the suggestion of the guy there I bought a FitJoy and ate it when I left the store because it was way past lunch and I hadn't eaten. It did not go over well. I felt nauseated almost immediately and it sent my blood sugar way up too! So, I won't be buying any of those again!
QOTD: What's your biggest pet peeve? I can't stand when people aren't timely or prepared. Both when they arrive late somewhere, but also when they are fully aware of when we should be leaving and wait until the last possible minute to get ready. My husband does this. He'll know we're leaving at 8am, but he'll wait until 7:50 to get stuff together and leave me in the car tapping my foot waiting for him.

M3: Pulled Pork Pizza (1oz pulled pork, 1 TBSP BBQ Sauce, Flax Seed Pita, 1oz Mozzarella)
M4: BLT's (Mine made with the Pita instead of bread)
E: 3-mile walk on lunch break, or maybe a run if it's nice when I get home. Maybe both? I did end up getting in a good TRX work out yesterday so I'm feeling sore again this morning!
