Whatcha Eating Today VSGers? Saturday 9/2/17
No, I bought Joseph's brand Flax, Bran, Oat pita's. They are 60 calories, 9g of carbs and 6g of protein each. About 6" across I'd say. I pan seared them with Pam first and then loaded them up with toppings and stuck them under the broiler until the cheese was melted and a bit brown. Very much like a nice thin crust pizza.

Another beautiful day here! I'm stressing a bit, first college paper due at midnight tonight. It's not that I can't write the paper, it's that one class is MLA style, the other is APA style, and I never had to do any of that when I was in college 20 years ago (lazy instructors I'm guessing!). So, in addition to jumping back into school, I'm having to learn MLA and APA on the fly! AAAHHH!!! Thank goodness for the internet and all the info and examples out there! I know once I get the first couple of papers under my belt I'll be fine. Oh, and add in the fact that at 57 1/2 I'm FINALLY starting menopause, which is currently manifesting itself with late evening head and neck hot flashes with headache, is not conducive to concentrating and ready. LAWD! lol
QOTD: I don't have a fear of heights, per se, but I have always had an irrational fear of high places with non-solid flooring. Stairs with open backs, and high decks with spaces between the boards have always scared me. I also don't like getting too close to the edge of a high place, like an overlook or a balcony, even if it has a solid floor. I guess it's more a fear of falling than anything else. I'm also not sure it wasn't related to my weight, since I haven't tried anything like that since I'm smaller.
B: Plain yogurt w/erythritol and PB2, Fiber one, and coffee w/H&H and xylitol
L: Smoked pulled pork, fresh zucchini w/avocado ranch dressing
D: Butter lettuce w/bacon bits, boiled egg, cheddar jack cheese and avocado ranch dressing
Water and vites on track
I remember doing sears tower as a kid. There's also a place outside Cincinnati called Kings Island I grew up going to. They have a 1/3 scale Eiffel Tower you could go up in. That thing would SWAY! I just hugged the wall. Same as Sears tower. I didn't even attempt the London Eye. No way! There were bridges on the east coast that gave me cold sweats when I was there!

I get nervous just looking out the window there!
Good afternoon!
Woke up before the alarm and was out of the house by 5:20 a.m. - 13k walk this morning. Lazy sun finally came up 30-40 minutes later.
QOTD: No phobias per se, just some things that make me (probably) irrationally angry.
B: protein shake
L: leftover Chinese
S: protein shake
D: ???
E: 13k walk
"Friends are like flowers; no matter how well you pick them, they all eventually die."
Are you 13k walks 13,000 steps? Or 13 kilometers? I've been wondering!
