Hair loss has started at 9 weeks!
At least a lot of you had thick hair when you started. I am not so lucky, I already had thin, superfine hair, and then when I started losing it, one day I looked in the mirror and could see my scalp on top of my head! My dad had male pattern baldness on top...and I freaked out! My biggest fear had always been that I would be the one girl in the family who inherited it from him, and would be one of those old women with super thin hair on top. Thank goodness it's only the WLS hair loss! It started about 3 months out, and at 10 months it has finally slowed, and it starting to grow back a little.
With a side part, new bangs, and strategic combing, it doesn't look as bad as it really is!
I'm hanging in there hoping maybe I'll be one of those people who get more hair when it grows back in!! hahaha a girl can dream!
