Back from a bit of a break
Thank you! :D
I'm looking forward to the Faire. I even ordered a new cheapo bodice after doing some research about best bodice types for different boobs :P So that'll be fun. It's also supposed to rain the day before which, surprisingly, makes for a good Faire experience because it cuts down on the dust AND the Faire is GREAT about putting hay down, so it's not muddy! Win, win.

Glad to have you back. I also wondered why you went off the grid. I've lived with insomnia my whole life. It's cyclical and I haven't found a solution so I empathize with where you've been. I hope you have so much fun at Faire. What a nice change of pace.
Glad you are okay - sleep makes such a difference - you can get 100 nights of good rest, but then one that you don't sleep and all that good rest is gone. If I wake up in the middle of the night, I'm up for minimally 2 hours - and I get up at 5 and drive 45 miles to work - not good, especially driving home at night when i'm really tired. Then I'm asleep on the couch at 8:30 - and awake at 3. It's a vicious cycle.
Enjoy the faire, life is too short not to have fun.

HI Gwen, I am sorry that you are having problems sleeping. I get that way too sometimes. Are you stressed/worried about things in your life?
It is wonderful to hear that you are having a full recovery!
Enjoy the Renaissance fair! I always find the neat-est, most unique jewelry there. I had a laird made out of chain maille (so I dont lose my keys) about 10 years ago, it STILL hasn't broken. It was done in a double barrel design of some silver metal with some type of brass... it goes with pretty much everything!

Three pounds below Goal!!! Yay !
The stress/worry question is a hard one. Life is life, there's always something going on. I don't feel that I'm at a higher level of stress/worry than normal. So.. shrug.
I love chain maille stuff. There are a few vendors at my Faire who do it. I love going and window shopping :D And I can't wait until next year, because next year I'm finally going to be able to invest in nice garb for the first time since WLS!
