Pre-op newbie in Japan!
Hi everyone. I'm new (duh lol) I am 34, from Toronto Canada but live in Tokyo Japan and will be having my surgery (blood tests depending!) in Dec '17. They do things diff. over here. I will be having VSG or GB, leaning more on the former. I have a YT channel with the same handle as on here. Would love to know if any of you are overseas OR went overseas for your WLS...?

I am from Ontario as well, living in Japan must be quite a different experience.
I can't speak to how they do things overseas, but having the VSG this past March, was one of the best decisions I have ever made. No regrets, and luckily no complications either.

Hiya!
I'm new too and live in the UK but am over a year post op with a VGS. I'd love to visit Tokyo some day but when ever I see it on TV it looks like the sort of place that never sleeps so I'm a bit worried it'd be overwhelming!
Start weight 18:10......... Current weight 10:10...........Goal weight 10 stone!
