I need to get a food scale. I don't trust my eyes! I'm still SLOWLY losing but, I can, and will, do better.

One luxury I won't give up is getting my nails done every 2.5-3 weeks. I moved to a really expensive area and finally found a great place that's not much more cost than I used to pay before we moved! It's about $34-36 total (unless I get the toes done which I try to do every 3 visits). Not sure if you'd call it a luxury though, but to me I love my pampering!

B shake and coffee to sip on until lunch time

L veggie chicken burger (skipped food shopping this week aside from weekly fresh berries and veggies) on top of salad.

S if needed 2tbsp peanut butter OR 1/4c nuts

D baked lemon Parmesan chicken with roasted veggies

trying to cut out "snacks". Finally under 220lbs. 219.4 today. Aiming to get back to onederland and then back to 180 where I was not long after WLS. One day at a time!

Exercise; T25 after work.

Brrr. It's cold here today especially for August! I'll be working in the veggie garden today as I've been neglecting it.

QOTD: When I'm in CA, I have housecleaners too, every two weeks as the dog and I don't make that big of a mess. I really hate cleaning bathrooms. Here in MI, I have to fight with myself to get it done!

I'm now working on two nights of no sleep. I'm displeased. And my left nipple itches. I'm going to spend a second day feeling sorry for myself. Since that works really well. (Not.)

QOTD: Like you, cleaning. When Lance moved in (2008) that was one of my few conditions. I figured now that there were two incomes we were going to splurge on a cleaning service. Especially because I know I'd be the one who would do all the cleaning and I'd also be the one who would get judged for having a less than immaculate house. Yay sexism. So we have a service that comes every other week.

1: protein shake
2: quiche (assuming no one else took the last slice already)
3: no idea. Lance thinks there's enough food in the fridge for tonight's dinner and tomorrow's lunches, but I'm not so sure.

Good morning all.

QOTD: I recently gave up my cleaning service when I moved. So far I don't really miss it TOO badly. I have so much more energy now. My luxury expense would have to be blowouts. I usually get one a week. My hair is hard to handle and looks frizzy when I do it. I also get nails and toes done every three weeks.

Hi, I'm tired this morning, hopefully my coffee kicks in soon.

I hate this cool weather we are having. I was freezing yesterday.

QOTD being on disability, i don't have much money for luxury. I do buy stuff i want. The last thing i bought myself is ipad mini last month.

Stomach is feeling much better today. Not sure what was up with yesterday but I stuck to just staying hydrated.

QOTD: the one luxury I haven't given up yet is going to as many concerts as possible. I'm a musician and I live for live shows. The moment when the artists takes the stage, is the best feeling ever. I usually go to about 2 concerts a month. Already looking forward to September!

Good morning everyone. It's actually raining here, it has been so long! It's the kind of rain that comes down steady without stopping. I hope I hear on the news tonight that it has helped contain some of the fires we have right now. It was so smoky yesterday my eyes burned all day.

QOTD-I allow myself a trip to the casino a few Fridays out of each month:-)

Hi everybody! Where has this week gone? It's flying and there is no rest in sight. Have a Hamburger Mary's charity bingo event for The Animal Rescue Alliance, so needing to try and find something healthy there for dinner tonight before we start selling bingo cards and raffle tix!

B: Chocolate premier, 2 t. sugar free French vanilla creamer, 8 oz black coffee

S: turkey summer sausage stick and reduced fat string cheese stick

L: 1/4 c. cottage cheese, 1 oz deli ham, 5 grape tomatoes

QOTD: I've been working with a trainer for two or three years now. It keeps me going to the gym. It's my accountability. There are other 'luxuries' I am always splurging on, but I think I'm going to cease and desist on some that are transient and see about the house cleaning. I'm not a cleaner. I need a cleaner/de-clutterer...

I gave up waxing (except my brows) and my nails/toes and now my trainer. I need to sack money away for plastics. But, I don't think I could give up my cleaner!
