bananas at what stage?
I only eat bananas after I finish a race. Otherwise, fruit won't help me reach my goal so why spend the stomach space on it?

Gwen,
I asked because for a serious medical reason I cannot go on a low carb diet. I can only do a moderate one. I understand about the quickest weightloss but I can't ... so hence why I asked how soon can you have a banana or berries. Congrats on your weightloss.
Sounds like a question that would be best answered by your medical team, then!

They are kind of pointless for the WL mission, so when you hit maintenance? The only fruit I ate during weightloss was very small portions of berries. There's a stupid number of carbs in a banana.

Thank you for your replies... and yes that is my fear --- no nuts or seed or rice or corn ....for 6 months.
It takes 3 months to heal but I would be cautious- definitely.. and low carb well ... I cannot do low low but I won't do high either ... I will work out a plan with my NUT that is good for me --- which I think is great advice for everyone.
Congrats Cecily you are doing great!
