Haha, I felt the same way with my first 5k. I swear my goals for the race were "finish within the time limit" and "don't die."
And don't believe anyone who tells you "running is such cheap exercise!" They lie. ;)

You look great, I can't wait for time to fly so I can be where you are. I had my surgery 8/14 and I feel good. But sometimes I don't know if I am going to make it. But foruns like yours helps me know there is something better to come. Great job on the 5k!
Trust the process and you will get through it. Try to keep your eye on the big picture. The daily or weekly numbers can make you get to tunnel visioned and seem like it is taking FOREVER. I have to remind myself of my overall numbers often.

Training for a 5K...I can't even imagine doing that myself, but kudos to you!!
