Whatcha Eating Today VSGers? Monday 8/21/17
Morning! So begins the last week of work before classes start. I have a laundry list of things for myself and my team to get done before students move in on Thursday and Friday. I'll have to work on Saturday too (boo). Jon leaves for Phoenix this morning for a few days too, so our normal routine will be shot as well.
QOTD: Yesterday we talked about books, so today let's talk about TV. What are you watching right now? I'm sorry to say I'm not very interesting. I'm on my 3rd run through of Army Wives on Netflix. My dirty little pleasure is girly shows that are easy to watch while I'm also doing something else. I don'****ch GoT or Walking Dead or any of the other popular shows right now. We also don't have syndicated TV and haven't in over 10 years, so that's probably part of it! We use strictly Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime.

Accountability: Right on point yesterday, except I didn't manage to get in my second half of protein shake in the evening so I was a bit low on protein. Total calories 1,063.
M1: Premier Protein w/ Coffee and Heavy Cream (laying off the Miralax because my stomach has been evil)
M2: Dannon L&F w/ 1/4 cup frozen fruit, sunflower seeds, and coconut
M3: Emiepie's Egg Salad and Avocado
M4: TBD, but I'll grab a protein at the deli on the way home and we'll have fresh cucumbers and tomatoes with it
E: Walking with a co-worker on lunch break I think

Well, I posted about BED earlier because for the last 3 nights I've gone food crazy. Last night I had two yogurts and a hunk of cheese before I could stop myself and the night before I had a protein bar and a bunch of tuna salad - all after meeting my calorie and protein goals for the day. It's all coincided with pretty intense menstrual cramps and breast pain but no menses....I just seem to be super hormonal right now! I'm posting this here to let myself know that tonight will NOT be a repeat!

while you may be going "food crazy", look at what you ate. 2 yogurts- don't spank yourself. Hunk of cheese, high in fat & cals, but also some protein - could be worse. Protein bar and tuna salad. Protein protein protein and some carbs. Could be worse. Sometimes our body has requests. Exercise a bit more. Remember that if you deny yourself too often, you can go off the rails and really get out of control. Be gentle with yourself.
Morning. Hope everybody had a good weekend. Mine was busy. We ate out three times, so I expected to be up on the scale, but holding steady.
QOTD: I've been watching The Keepers on Netflix. We also enjoy Taboo on FX.
Had a pretty good NSV last night. Rode on the back of a motorcycle. First time since surgery and first time in years. It was fun!

We've eaten out a ton too, but I've mostly been able to avoid it. Friday evening my kids had friends over and wanted pizza. I was able to eat leftover chicken instead. Saturday I went out for Mexican with a friend and my husband took the kids for Chinese Buffet (which I never eat because that's a waste!). Yesterday, we were 90 miles from home so we had a late lunch at Five Guys, but 3/4 of a little cheeseburger with no bun is the perfect portion!

Good morning - busy weekend for me, wedding Friday night, went to a MLS soccer game in Montreal on saturday night and to Burlington VT yesterday and went to Trader Joes!
QOTD - MY DW and I do no****ch TV unless it is just before lights out, we DVR many shows , Chicago Fire, PD, Med and Justice. We also like Greys anatomy and Code Black. I am on season 2 of Dexter on netflix, only watch that at home when on our treadmill so not much this time of year.

Good morning all! Ugh. I've been up on the scale two days in a row. That hasn't happened since the first week of June for me. I think I need to buckle down...
QOTD: I watch a lot of stuff on Netflix and Amazon. I just finished all the Ms. Fisher's Murder Mysteries and started Agatha Raisin. Before that I went through all the Doc Martin's and Midsomer Murders. I love British tv series (though Ms. Fisher's was Australian).
