Still new to this forum, but I thought it might help my accountability to post in these threads as I try to get 8-10 lbs of regain off.

QOTD: I'm in the middle of the Ron Chernow biography of Alexander Hamilton that inspired the musical. I've gotten a little bogged down in the financial jargon that goes with his tenure as Secretary of the Treasury, so I need to power through to get to the part about the Reynolds affair soon!

B: Siggi's strawberry rhubarb yogurt & 1/2 a banana nut Quest bar. Then coffee with stevia and half-and-half.

L: On the go, so I just had an oatmeal chocolate chip Quest bar

S: 1 oz. cheddar cheese, 1.5 oz. nuts with a TB of reduced-sugar dried cranberries, and some farm-fresh local cantaloupe

D: Going out for Mexican, so I'll probably have a few chips with salsa and 1/3 or so of a plate of chicken fajitas (without the tortillas)

E: Yoga class this morning, probably a short walk with dogs this evening

Accountability: I'm visiting my parents right now, and we may walk down to the local ice cream shop this evening.

Good morning everyone! I am at work right now and the flow of tourists have died down so I thought I better check in now.

QOTD-I am reading The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron.

Accountability yesterday was okay until 10:00pm, I snacked on a few wasabi snap peas which shouldn't even be in the house.

B-Chia, Flax & pumpkin seed porridge

L-Vanilla protein shake

S-String cheese(?)

D-Still have a lot of zucchini:-) Stuffed w/ground beef & cheddar cheese

S-1 small peach

E-late evening walk

QOTD: I never stop reading, always have an audio book queued up on my PC to listen to while I work on it or around the house, and I always have one going in the Kindle reader on my phone. My favorites are crime thrillers, mysteries, and cozy mysteries. Right now I am listening to Alexander McCall Smith's "The Sunday Philosophy Club" (first in the Isabel Dalhousie/Sunday Philosophy Club series), and reading Victor Methos' "The Neon Lawyer" on my phone. Also anxiously awaiting the next book in my favorite series, The Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich, which doesn't come out until November and it's KILLING ME!! I feel your mother's pain there, Gwen lol

So total edit on today's food lol! One of my BFFs called and asked me to join her and her husband for dinner at a local Mexican restaurant. So...lunch and dinner are amended as follows:

L: Steak, chicken, and bacon fajitas (no rice, beans, or tortillas), with a side of quacamole, on lettuce w/sour cream. Enough meat for 4 meals, so it will play a major part in my menus for the next couple of days!

D: Leftover fajitas and guacamole (ate all the lettuce).
