NSV - No Meds!
on 8/19/17 8:43 am
Had an appointment with my PCP yesterday. I am officially med free! The last to go was my blood pressure medication. My labs are perfect - except low vitamin D - and my bp has been running around 110/72. This is a big improvement in my health. Bonus is I'm also saving about $183/ month in prescription copays vs. LY.
My only frustration is my weight has totally stalled. I'm nowhere near goal so this is not where I want to end up. I'm ready to scream into the wind. AAARrrrrgggghhhh!!!

Thanks Diane. Sometimes it feels like I'll never get to goal so it helps to hear from those who are there. - Cher
Stalls happen. Stick to the plan, measure and log what you eat, you'll get there.

That's great!
Lots of people complain about the cost of vitamins after surgery. But most of us spent more on copays for meds. And were headed for even more.
Keep up the good work.

Thanks Grim. One impetus for me to do this was watching my mother, who is on 22 or so different meds. Diabetes, bp, cholesterol, heart, etc. I knew I didn't want to end up there but I was headed down the same path.
