Whatcha Eating Today VSGers? Thursday 8/17/17
I've been indulged it more fruit and vegetables and neglecting my protein for about a week now, this morning I went into the kitchen to make myself a bowl of yogurt and peaches... fresh organic peaches from our own trees... and decided to make sausage and eggs (we have chickens too) instead. I balanced and froze the peaches I picked yesterday so they will stop tempting me.
One day at a time.

QOTD: I am both. I will go off on an adventure on my own. I loved rambling around London. My ex was from Italy, and I miss northern Italy something fierce! I have always wanted to go to Paris for a couple weeks, rent a flat in one of the arrondissements and see if I can get my French back!

Breakfast - Oui dark cherry yogurt and coffee mixed with premier protein.
Lunch - I went to the store and ate their charcuterie samples lol. They had cheese and dried meats and salamis. Filled up for free.
Dinner - Will be having a slice of bread cut in half to make a mini sandwich with bacon and sliced tomato from my garden.
Snack - probably a protein shake if I remember

I have to admit, I'm a sucker for packaging. I buy it for the little glass jars I can reuse. As far as taste, it's pretty good. Quite sweet. It's not a lot of protein, but the bulk of my protein generally come from lunch and dinner since heavy breakfasts make me feel blah. I don't know how many carbs you try to stay under, but if you're super strict, Oui would probably not work out well. I keep at around 40-50 carbs a day so I can fit it in no problem. But yeah, I mostly just like the packaging lol.
I would love to travel more! I love road trips with my husband and son. I have travelled all up and down the east coast, been to the Bahamas and Mexico..I'd love to go west and see Alaska!

QOTD: I've always been a homebody and it gets worse as I get older. I would love to travel and have many places on my bucket list. Alas, financially I've never been able to do that. I keep hoping, though!
I have my books for my classes, so I'm ready for them to start on Aug 28th. Looking through the texts has me a bit overwhelmed. It's been 20 years since I took my last classes, but I know I'll get back into the swing of things and be fine. I'm excited though! Now I just need to find a job! lol
