Low white blood cells count
Thank you everyone for the prayers I had my appointment with the Hematologist. I'm still waiting on two more labs but my white blood cells count increased to 3.6 it's still low. I told the Hematologist I had an sinus infection around June 21th and was given antibiotics for 10 days. My primary care doctor reran my blood count and the wbc was 2.8. I asked him was it still low because the body needed time to rebuild the wbc. He said it should have been back to a normal range. So I don't know the Hematologist wants me to follow up with him in 6 months. He wants me to relax but knowing me I'm a worrier. Again thank you all
Oh gosh, that's scary. :(
I am glad they are keeping an eye on it. And hey, who wouldn't worry about that?! I totally would be worried! Good luck, Leet1984!
I follow a ketogenic diet post-op. I also have a diagnosis of binge eating disorder. Feel free to ask me about either!

Thank you for the prayers I had my appointment with the Hematologist and my white blood cells count increased to 3.6 it's still low and I'm still waiting for the results from 2 more labs but I'm thinking around June 21th and was given antibiotics for sinus infection and I had my blood work reran by my primary care doctor on 8/3/17 and on 8/7 he told me my white blood cells count was 2.8 I asked him how long does it take for my white blood cells count to increase and he said it should have been back to a normal range by August. But the Hematologist has scheduled to follow up with him in 6 months. He told me to relax I'm going to try but I'm a worrier. Thank you everyone.
