Good morning all. Rained really hard here this morning. I started out in an ill mood and then I walked through ankle high water to get into work. Soaked socks, shoes, purse. Grrr. I look out now and see the sun shining which annoys me even more ha ha. I feel like all the stress at work is really affecting me and my mood.

B: yogurt and coffee

L: turkey tacos with lettuce wraps

D: I don't know. What I had planned got eaten last night (not by me). The beginning of my bad mood today. I guess it will be cottage cheese and/or tuna.

S: chike coffee

Forgot to answer the QOTD: I am an early riser for sure. When I was younger I would sleep the day away if I could, but that was usually because I had stayed up half the night.

This morning my husband spontaneously picked me up, my legs wrapped around him and we walked all around the house with our toddler laughing hysterically following behind. He said it was easy to hold me! This is just more motivation to get to goal!

QOTD: I haven't slept through the night for 1.5 years. I'm up 2-10 times per night and I'm always exhausted. I dream of a day when I can sleep as much as I want but I think I'll be getting up early with my kid for many years to come.

B: coffee and PP, yogurt

L: turkey breast

D: maybe salmon burger patty

S: quest bar

Good morning! It's a beautiful day here in the desert.

Working from home today, get to have a nice relaxing day since I've already finished 95% of my work for the month of August.

Going to my support group tonight, should be interesting.

QOTD: I have always been a night owl... when I was college-aged, during the summer my sleep schedule would get so far off, that I'd be going to bed at dawn and waking in the afternoon. The past 15 years or so (after a 9-month bout of insomnia), I've become a hardass about getting enough sleep (at least 8 hours) and getting to bed at reasonable hours, however. Now bedtime is 10:30pm so I can get up at 6:45am without wanting to murder someone.

Since surgery, I've gravitated even earlier, usually getting up between 7am-8am on the weekends. The past few Saturday's I've actually set an alarm so I could get up by 5:30am to get out of the house and walk before it gets too hot (desert...). Not sure that I could keep that up long term, however. Also, now that I've lost so much weight, I no longer need to get up in the middle of the night to urinate. It's nice to be able to sleep the whole night through.

B: protein shake

L: chicken/tofu stir fry

S: protein shake

D: chicken soup and salad

E: hit the gym for arms and legs

QOTD: I wanna say in the last few months I've gotten to be an early riser. I work from home and am usually logged in and working by 6:45-7 am. I like being done by 3:15pm everyday. I can get In a good workout before dinner and still enjoy a relaxing bath at night couple times a week.

B: L&F Greek yogurt with bran buds

L: deviled chicken salad with crumbled wasa

D: BBQ pulled chicken

S: protein bar

E:walking
