Good Morning! Looks like it's going to be a clear, cool day. I certainly want to get in a walk if that's the case! I'm editing my meals to back off to four again because I find that accounting for every single calorie in my plan means that I have no contingency if something changes. Maintenance is all trial and error right?

QOTD: Are you an early riser or do you like to sleep in? I have always loved sleeping in late, but in the last 1-2 years, that has changed. Now I really enjoy getting up super early and sitting in a quiet house alone. I'm in the process of getting an office space set up and I can't wait until I get a quiet house and a door to close!

Nearly 7 months post op\Maintenance\141.6 this morning

M3: Emiepie's Egg Salad and Avocado

M4: TBD, but I think it will probably be egg, cheese, hot sauce and sour cream because I didn't take anything out of the freezer.

E: 3 mile walk on lunch break

Good morning Menu crew- another great start and halfway through the week. I was sore yesterday from the previous day 10 mile hike. I went to the gym and could only walk on the treadmill, home, and in the hot tub and seemed to feel much better. no pain, no gain.

QOTD - I am an early riser, I do not require more than 6 hours of sleep. I am fortunate!

B - pure protein bar

S- Caramel apple pie greek yogurt

L - White tuna and Balsamic

S - Buddig meat

Good morning!

I've become more of a morning person with Time. Mainly because of exercise. Got to run early before it warms up. Got to get up early to make fitness classes. Etc. and I like the solitude I get if I'm awake before everyone else, especially on the weekends!

Right now, though, I can sleep 16 hours a day :P Yay recovery! Recovery is going well. I get to shower today which is super exciting because it means I'll finally get to see my body!

1: protein shake

2: protein shake

3: quiche? Maybe leftover spaghetti carbonara. (I haven't had a pasta dish in forever, but I was really craving carbonara yesterday, so the guys made that happen for me.)

liquids on track, vitamins probably not. Exercise nope. Just getting in and out of my chair is taxing enough! I did switch to the couch in the middle of the night since my butt was killing me.

Good morning, my VSG friends! On the schedule today are a walk, a dog bath for a very stinky critter, and some (whispers) house cleaning. Sorry to Cathy and Rachel, it had to be said!

QOTD: I'm a night owl, but with a dog I do have to get up to feed him and let him out to do his business. He's a good sleeper too, so often I make it to 8:30. Being single, my house is always quiet so I don't have to search for solitude!

B - coffee and yogurt/raspberries

L - chicken leg

D - Cheeseburger?

S - protein shake

Cecily, have you tried adding Torani sugar free syrups to your protein shakes? I've found it makes them soooo much more tolerable.

It's the sweetness I've developed a distaste for sadly more than the flavor. I jokingly whine about it because I'm trying to get through the ones I already have... I haven't tried unflavored ones yet if anyone has good suggestions and I think Chike is out because I can't have caffeine anymore (if I'm wrong on that someone correct me!).

Could you maybe add some decaf instant coffee to tame the sweetness?
