Whatcha Eating Today VSGers? Sunday 8/13/17
Good morning, VSGers! My nephew ended up sleeping pretty well over all, but he was up at 5 am. Given that I'm up at 5:30 on the week days that wasn't such a big deal. Today I'm holding one of those Paint and Sip parties (minus the sip). It's at a local BBQ restaurant so I'll be well set up for food if I need it while I'm there.
I got 1,000 calories yesterday for one of the first times but adding a 5th meal. In an attempt to add some fat calories I made bullet proof coffee this morning, but a few sips let me know my stomach wasn't going to love it. So, I'm back to premier protein I guess!

I was up at 6:30 this morning since I need to be up even earlier tomorrow to get to the hospital. I'll spend today relaxing and getting ready for tomorrow. Looking forward to being offline for a few. I'm doing self-imposed surgery prep today with all liquids and miralax so I have a better chance of avoiding post-op constipation.

In the interest of honesty, I had a slip yesterday. I went to the movies and the popcorn smelled so good (and is only $2 for a small here) so I got one thinking I would probably toss more than half given how quickly I get full. New lesson, I do not get full on movie popcorn and it still tastes awesome. I mowed my way through the whole thing. And felt really guilty afterwards. Then for dinner we had vegetarian tamales which were tasty, but basically more corn/carbs and no protein. So I ended up well over 1100 calories (highest since surgery) and only 50g of protein for the day. I guess the part that bothers me was it was so easy!

Popcorn denies all WLS laws! I don't feel it at all. The only way I can safely eat it is to measure a 2 cup portion size (which isn't much!) otherwise I over eat!

Good morning fellow former fatties in training!
Had a great card night last night, my team won with almost 7,000 points, 2,000 points above the next team. Even though there was pizza, I had a salad with chicken, and just the (meager) toppings off two slices. It has gotten easier... pizza definitely used to be a trigger food for me.
